Originally from Austin, Texas, Lauren made her way out to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams, while attending USC’s Cinema-Television Production Program in 2006. Her love of film started at the tender age of 2, with a pronounced predilection for the animated film, Bambi, and that passion has only continued to grow.
In 2009, she was lucky enough to be cast as a host on the Fox Movie Channel show, “Life After Film School.” Through that show, she has had the opportunity to interview current filmmakers such as Jeff and Jackie Marcus Schaffer (The League), Graham Yost (Justified), Nina Jacobson (Diary of a Wimpy Kid, The Hunger Games), Brad Simpson (Boys Don't Cry, Diary of a Wimpy Kid), Chris Keyser (Party of Five, Lone Star), etc.
After graduating in 2010, Lauren worked mostly as a freelance script supervisor and director's assistant. But in March of 2011, she decided to trade in the freelance lifestyle to go work for a company she has always been passionate about---Alloy (Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants).

When she isn’t working, Lauren enjoys reading, writing, working on her blog--Destination Hollywood, learning new things, hanging out with her friends, playing board games, and discovering newfangled forms of exercise--such as her newest obsessions Bikram Yoga & Cardio Barre.
She someday hopes to produce and direct family entertainment, teen media, and romantic comedies.
